Hi - I have a easy question...

I am dating a wonderful Turkish man and have been asked to travel to Istanbul with him to attend a wedding with his family. I have lived in the Southern US all my life and have attended many weddings but none outside of the US. I am wondering if anyone out there more cultured than I can tell me what would be appropriate to wear to an evening Turkish wedding in Istanbul??
